Before performing any of these steps make sure you back up your Android device completely.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Rooting is done entirely by you at your own risk.<\/p>\n<h2>What is needed to root the Samsung Galaxy S3 SCH-I535?<\/h2>\n<p>In order to root the Samsung Galaxy S3 SCH-I535 you will need the following.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Samsung Galaxy S3 SCH-I535 you want to root in your hand.<\/li>\n<li>A PC.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Step 1 \u2013 Download the USB drivers for the Samsung Galaxy S3 SCH-I535 for your PC<\/h2>\n<p>In order for your PC to recognise the Samsung Galaxy S3 SCH-I535 as part of the rooting process you first must download and install the USB drivers on to your PC.<\/p>\n<p>You can download the USB drivers for the Samsung Galaxy S3 SCH-I535 from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mediafire.com\/download\/jotj0yjj4st761t\/SAMSUNG_USB_Driver_for_Mobile_Phones_v1.5.25.0-retail.exe\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Once you have downloaded them run the main program file to make sure the drivers are installed.<\/p>\n<h2>Step 2 \u2013 Download the Samsung Galaxy S3 SCH-I535 root file<\/h2>\n<p>You need to flash a root file to the device using Odin from step 2.<\/p>\n<p>You can download the file from <a href=\"http:\/\/rapidgator.net\/file\/dcd31b809eb1344cb966199aa4e003f9\/saferoot.zip.html?referer=http:\/\/j.gs\/3ELN\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Save it to an easy to find location on your PC such as your desktop and extract it to its own folder.<\/p>\n<h2>Step 3 \u2013 Enable USB debugging on the Samsung Galaxy S3 SCH-I535<\/h2>\n<p>In order for your PC to recognise the Samsung Galaxy S3 SCH-I535 when you plug it in to perform rooting you must first enable USB debugging on the phone itself. This is done by doing the following.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong><em>Tap the Settings option.<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><em>Tap the About Phone option.<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><em>Keep tapping the Build Number option (seven times) until it says you are a developer.<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><em>Tap the new Developer Options menu that appears.<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><em>Make sure that the USB Debugging option is checked.<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>Step 4 \u2013 Root the Samsung Galaxy S3 SCH-I535<\/h2>\n<p>Now that you have downloaded the root file to your PC and installed the USB drivers for the device and enabled USB debugging on the device it is time to root the device.<\/p>\n<p>Simply connect the device to your PC using the USB cable and tap <strong>OK <\/strong>on the device when prompted.<\/p>\n<p>On your PC browse to the folder from step 2 you extracted the root file to and run the <strong>install.bat <\/strong>file and then follow the steps that appear to root the device.<\/p>\n<p>Once the device is rooted it will reboot and you will now see the SuperSU icon which shows that the device has been successfully rooted and you can disconnect it from your PC.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note: If, after rooting the device, you see the message \u2018SuperSU has stopped\u2019 you need to download and install the latest version of SuperSU on to the device.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To do that follow these steps:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Download the latest version of SuperSU from here and save it on your PC to the desktop.<\/li>\n<li>Connect your device to your PC and copy the SuperSU file you just downloaded to the device in an easy to find location such as the Downloads folder.<\/li>\n<li>Disconnect the device from the PC and run the SuperSU file you just copied to it (you may need to install a File Manager program from the Play Store to do this).
