This guide will show you how to root the Samsung Galaxy Centura phone

What do you need to root the Samsung Galaxy Centura?
In order to root the Samsung Galaxy Centura you will need the following:
◾The Samsung Galaxy Centura you wish to root in your hand
Step 1 – Download and copy Poot to the Samsung Galaxy Centura
Rooting the phone is done using Poot which you can get from here. Save the file to your computer in an easy to find location on your PC
You now need to copy Poot on to the phone which is done as follows:
◾Connect The Samsung Galaxy Centura to Your PC
◾Copy the file you downloaded in step 2 onto the phone in an easy to find location such as the downloads folder.
Step 2 – Root the Samsung Galaxy Centura
You can now install Poot on the phone and root it.
This is done by doing the following:
- Disconnect the Samsung Galaxy Centura from your PC.
- On the phone, browse to the download folder and run Poot (you may need to install a file manager from the Play Store to do this; enable installation of unknown sources if asked).
- Install Poot on to the phone.
- Run Poot and then download and install Ministro II from the Play Store.
- You will then be asked to update the Ministro libraries so go ahead and do that.
- Once done two options will appear, tap ‘Press here to Poot’.
- Wait a while and then tap ‘Get Superuser’ to download Superuser.
- Reboot the device.
Once done you will see a new icon titled SuperSU which means that the device has been successfully rooted.
