This guide will show you how to root the Samsung Galaxy Centura phone<\/p>\n

What do you need to root the Samsung Galaxy Centura?<\/h2>\n

In order to root the Samsung Galaxy Centura you will need the following:<\/p>\n

\u25feThe Samsung Galaxy Centura you wish to root in your hand<\/p>\n

Step 1 \u2013 Download and copy Poot to the Samsung Galaxy Centura<\/h2>\n

Rooting the phone is done using Poot which you can get from here<\/a>. Save the file to your computer in an easy to find location on your PC<\/p>\n

You now need to copy Poot on to the phone which is done as follows:<\/p>\n

\u25feConnect The Samsung Galaxy Centura to Your PC<\/p>\n

\u25feCopy the file you downloaded in step 2 onto the phone in an easy to find location such as the downloads folder.<\/p>\n

Step 2 \u2013 Root the Samsung Galaxy Centura<\/h2>\n

You can now install Poot on the phone and root it.<\/p>\n

This is done by doing the following:<\/p>\n

  • Disconnect the Samsung Galaxy Centura from your PC.<\/li>\n
  • On the phone, browse to the download folder and run Poot (you may need to install a file manager from the Play Store to do this; enable installation of unknown sources if asked).<\/li>\n
  • Install Poot on to the phone.<\/li>\n
  • Run Poot and then download and install Ministro II from the Play Store.<\/li>\n
  • You will then be asked to update the Ministro libraries so go ahead and do that.<\/li>\n
  • Once done two options will appear, tap \u2018Press here to Poot\u2019.<\/li>\n
  • Wait a while and then tap \u2018Get Superuser\u2019 to download Superuser.<\/li>\n
  • Reboot the device.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
