Before performing any of these steps make sure you back up your Android device completely.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Rooting is done entirely by you at your own risk.<\/p>\n<h2>What is needed to root the ZTE V768 Concord?<\/h2>\n<p>In order to root the ZTE V768 Concord you will need the following.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The ZTE V768 Concord you want to root in your hand.<\/li>\n<li>A PC.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Step 1 \u2013 Download the rooting file<\/h2>\n<p>In order to root the ZTE V768 Concord you must download the root zip file which you can get from <a href=\"http:\/\/files.rootitall.com\/ztev768\/update.zip\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Download the file and save it on your PC in an easy to find location such as the desktop but do not extract it.<\/p>\n<h2>Step 2 \u2013 Copy the root file to the ZTE V768 Concord<\/h2>\n<p>Connect the Samsung Galaxy Ace to your PC. Once done, copy the root file from step 1 to the device in an easy to find location such as the Downloads folder.<\/p>\n<h2>Step 3 \u2013 Root the ZTE V768 Concord<\/h2>\n<p>Now that you have done that you must then reboot in to recovery mode.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Make sure the device is turned off completely.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Hold down Volume Down + Power until the device turns on and boots in to recovery mode.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Now, with the device in recovery mode, press the <strong>Home <\/strong>button and scroll to <strong>Apply Update from Sdcard<\/strong> and select it.<\/p>\n<p>Select the zip file you copied to the device in step 2 and then select <strong>Yes <\/strong>to install it.<\/p>\n<p>Once done choose the <strong>Reboot System Now <\/strong>option.<\/p>\n<p>After the device has rebooted successfully go to the Google Play Store and download and install <strong>SuperSU<\/strong> and then download and install <strong>BusyBox.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Once <strong>BusyBox <\/strong>has been installed run it and wait for it to install (use the <strong>Smart Install <\/strong>feature).<\/p>\n<p>After you have done all this the device should be successfully rooted.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[hoops name=&#187;Rooting Guides Are No Longer Maintained&#187;] This guide will show you how to root the popular ZTE V768 Concord device from ZTE.
