Follow the steps to unlock the bootloader and, when you have done that successfully please proceed to the next step.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"width: 70%; margin: 1.3em auto; line-height: 1.5; color: #aaaabe; font-size: 1.7em; font-weight: 300;\">Step 3 \u2013 Download the S-off root files<\/h2>\n<p style=\"width: 70%; margin: 1.3em auto; font-family: Helvetica,Arial,sans-serif; line-height: 1.5; color: #000; font-size: 16px; font-weight: 300;\">In order to root the phone you must use S-off which you can download from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mediafire.com\/download\/4ndbj3v14e98ipe\/S-Off+Tools.zip\">here<\/a>. Once downloaded extract the files to your desktop.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"width: 70%; margin: 1.3em auto; line-height: 1.5; color: #aaaabe; font-size: 1.7em; font-weight: 300;\">Step 4 \u2013 Download the HTC PC drivers<\/h2>\n<p style=\"width: 70%; margin: 1.3em auto; font-family: Helvetica,Arial,sans-serif; line-height: 1.5; color: #000; font-size: 16px; font-weight: 300;\">So that the HTC Evo 3D is seen properly when you connect it to your PC you need to install the correct USB drivers which you can get from <a href=\"https:\/\/code.google.com\/p\/binary100100\/downloads\/detail?name=HTCDriver3.0.0.007.exe&amp;can=2&amp;q=\">here<\/a>. Once you have downloaded the drivers double-click the executable file to start the driver installation process.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"width: 70%; margin: 1.3em auto; line-height: 1.5; color: #aaaabe; font-size: 1.7em; font-weight: 300;\">Step 5 \u2013 Root the HTC Evo 3D<\/h2>\n<p style=\"width: 70%; margin: 1.3em auto; font-family: Helvetica,Arial,sans-serif; line-height: 1.5; color: #000; font-size: 16px; font-weight: 300;\">Now that you have set up the Android SDK environment, unlocked the HTC Evo 3D bootloader, installed the HTC PC drivers and downloaded the S-off files it is time to root the phone.<\/p>\n<p style=\"width: 70%; margin: 1.3em auto; font-family: Helvetica,Arial,sans-serif; line-height: 1.5; color: #000; font-size: 16px; font-weight: 300;\">The first you must do is enable USB debugging on the HTC Evo 3D.
