To do this you must first download and install the PC USB drivers which you can find <a href=\"http:\/\/tool.xcdn.gdms.lge.com\/dn\/downloader.dev?fileKey=UW00120120425\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"width: 70%; margin: 1.3em auto; font-family: Helvetica,Arial,sans-serif; line-height: 1.5; color: #000; font-size: 16px; font-weight: 300;\">Save all of the files in a convenient location on your computer.<\/p>\n<p style=\"width: 70%; margin: 1.3em auto; font-family: Helvetica,Arial,sans-serif; line-height: 1.5; color: #000; font-size: 16px; font-weight: 300;\">Extract all the files to their own folder. Make sure you rename the CWM recovery file to <strong>boot.img<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"width: 70%; margin: 1.3em auto; line-height: 1.5; color: #aaaabe; font-size: 1.7em; font-weight: 300;\">Step 3 \u2013 Enable USB debugging on the LG G2<\/h2>\n<p style=\"width: 70%; margin: 1.3em auto; font-family: Helvetica,Arial,sans-serif; line-height: 1.5; color: #000; font-size: 16px; font-weight: 300;\">Along with installing the USB drivers on your PC you also need to enable USB debugging on the LG G2 itself. This is done by doing the following.<\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 70%; margin: 1.3em auto; font-family: Helvetica,Arial,sans-serif; line-height: 1.5; color: #000; font-size: 16px; font-weight: 300;\">\n<ol>\n<li>On the LG G2 tap <strong>System Settings &gt; General &gt; About Phone &gt; Software Information<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Keep tapping <strong>Build Number<\/strong> until it says you are a developer.<strong><em><br \/>\n<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Tap the new <strong>Developer Options<\/strong> menu.<\/li>\n<li>Make sure <strong>USB Debugging <\/strong>is <strong>checked.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<h2 style=\"width: 70%; margin: 1.3em auto; line-height: 1.5; color: #aaaabe; font-size: 1.7em; font-weight: 300;\">Step 4 &#8211; Download the LG G2 root tool<\/h2>\n<p style=\"width: 70%; margin: 1.3em auto; font-family: Helvetica,Arial,sans-serif; line-height: 1.5; color: #000; font-size: 16px; font-weight: 300;\">Now that you have set up the phone and the PC you need to download the root package for the LG G2 which you can get <a href=\"http:\/\/downloads.codefi.re\/thecubed\/lg_g2\/root\/ioroot10.zip\">here<\/a>.
