What is needed to root the Huawei Ascend Y530?<\/h2>\n

The Huawei Ascend Y530 can actually be rooted using the device itself. This means that you only need the Huawei Ascend Y530 that you wish to root in your hand, unlike other Android phones this phone can be rooted without needing a PC.<\/p>\n

Step 1 \u2013 Enable the installation of unknown sources<\/h2>\n

Rooting the Huawei Ascend Y530 requires the use of the towelroot rooting software. This is software that you must download and run on the phone itself. Before you can do this however you need to enable the installation of unknown sources.<\/p>\n

On the phone itself go to Settings > Security<\/strong> and tap the Unknown Sources<\/strong> option (make sure it is checked).<\/p>\n

Step 2 \u2013 Download towelroot<\/h2>\n

Now that you have enabled the installation of unknown sources it is time to root the phone by downloading towelroot.<\/p>\n

Open the phone browser.<\/p>\n

Tap the main icon to download the APK file.<\/p>\n

Save the APK file to your phone.<\/p>\n

Step 3 \u2013 Root the Phone<\/h2>\n

Now that you have downloaded towelroot on to the phone please run it.<\/p>\n

On the screen that appears tap the make it ra1n<\/strong> option.<\/p>\n

Wait for the rooting process to complete.<\/p>\n

After towelroot completes you need to install SuperSU. To do this you go to the Play Store and download and install SuperSU which is a free application.<\/p>\n

When you have downloaded SuperSU, run it and let it update itself.<\/p>\n
